Summer Body Challenge

The body challenge is here again! You have another chance to hone in on your fitness and body goals JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER! There are separate divisions for the men & women, so make sure you are registering for the correct division.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
Membership to our gym is not required but having a Kindred membership will help you with your fitness goals!
Receive $25 OFF your first month of membership for doing the challenge!
Winner of each division will split the cash pot 50/50 with the host gym.
How the Challenge will be scored:
Your score will be the weighted average of:
60% of your body fat loss plus + 40% of your fitness test score.
So if you lose 10% body fat that is 100 pts x 60%, and scored 35 pts on your fitness test score x 40%, your final score = 74 (Please see Fitness Test details below).

Fitness Test Week – June 11- June 14
You will perform these movements in front of our judges. Think about the CrossFit Opens, but the movements are much easier.
If you don’t have a membership with Kindred you will still come in to perform the movements this week in front of our judges.
+Here are the movements and how they will be scored:
DAY 1 (MON) – Max burpees in 2 min SCORE = # of REPS
DAY 2 (TUES) – Mile run. Points are earned based on your time of completion.
SCORE= sub 15 mins – 5 points
sub 10 mins – 10 points
sub 7 mins – 15 points
DAY 3 (WED) – Max push-ups in 2 min SCORE = # of REPS
DAY 4 (THURS) – Max plank hold
SCORE = Every minute equals 10 points 1 min = 10pts, 2 min = 20 points, etc.
Every 30 seconds equals 3 points.
So if you get 1 min 30 seconds your score is 13 points.
+Your final score will look like this:
– Weighted Average of 60% of your body fat loss + plus 40% of your fitness test score.
So if you lose 10% body fat that is 100 pts x 60% (60 points) PLUS
– + 35 (your fitness test score) x 40% = 74 (your final score)
-Don’t worry we will have scorecards for each participant so it’ll be clear how everyone is scored.
